How to Buy Opportunities

Hi CM Team,

Did you ever wonder how you can attain opporunities after opportunities?

God's Word tells in Ephesians 5:16 (Amplified Bible):

Making the very most of the time [buying up each opportunity], because the days are evil.

Using our time wisely will buy opportunities which will transform into life-giving outcomes in the end. When we feel "we don't have enough time," then we're most likely UNwisely using time, foregoing godly opportunities.

As the New Year of 2006 is just around the corner, this would be a good time for all of us to start identifying areas in our lives where we can prune out dead "times" from our daily routines so we would all make the most of our time in the New Year. If your morning devotion time is being crowded out by other busy-nesses, then that would be a great place to start by trimming out your evening/night activities in order to sleep earlier which in turn will start your morning earlier for a time of devotion with God. Genesis 1:5b (NIV) says the following implying that the day actually starts the night before.

And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day.

Have a wonderful Christmas and let's all turn to a bright New Year inviting His Spirit to lead us all.
